She was a woman who loved deeply, stood faithfully beside her husband, and built a life, a family, and a ministry together with her high school sweetheart. For over 50 years, she and Chief Apostle Arthur T. Jones, Sr. walked hand in hand—through life, through ministry, through purpose.
Then… life shifted.
After the passing of her beloved husband on November 28, 2024, Bishop Sharon found herself in a place she had poured into—but never personally walked through before: widowhood.
And in that space, she didn’t just feel the weight of loss… she recognized the need.
She saw the silent struggles.
She understood the emotional transitions.
She discerned the spiritual and practical gaps many widows face after the loss of a spouse.
Out of that place of love, loss, and divine assignment… The Widow’s Gathering was born.
Not just as a ministry—but as a safe place.
A place for healing.
A place for connection.
A place where no woman has to grieve alone.
A little more about Bishop Sharon...
Bishop Sharon was saved at the early age of 12 years under the ministry of Elder W.F. Faust, Sr., and was called into the ministry of preaching the Gospel at the age of 16.
She married her high school sweetheart, Chief Apostle Arthur T. Jones, Sr., on November 23, 1968. Together, they built not only a family but a legacy. They are the proud parents of Presiding Prelate Bishop Dr. Arthur T. Jr. (Tonya), Pastor of Impact Worship Center in Mableton, Georgia; Elder Ardel T. (Shironda), Pastor of All People International Church, Inc., Jacksonville, FL; and Shantel T. Cross (Herbert, Jr.), who serves alongside her brother in ministry at Impact Worship Center. They are also the proud grandparents of Aja, Asya, Tiana, Carrington, Hannah, Carmen, Arthur T. III, and Jalen.
For over five decades, Bishop Sharon faithfully served alongside her husband, the Honorable Chief Apostle Arthur T. Jones, Sr., Founder and Presiding Prelate. Together, they labored diligently and untiringly, building a ministry that has grown and impacted countless lives. Their partnership was one of strength, faith, and unwavering commitment to God’s call.
Bishop Sharon’s servitude and virtue exemplify the qualities of a true woman of God. She currently serves as the Bishop of Administration, working closely with leadership to continue the vision of the ministry. She is a powerful example of a virtuous woman—one who provokes change, inspires growth, and challenges people of all ages to live for Christ.
She embraces the sacred responsibility of depositing the Gospel into the lives of God’s people and is the founder of SPCJ Ministries, Inc., a ministry devoted to encouraging believers to give Jesus Christ first priority while upholding a standard of holiness. Her passion extends to marriage, parenting, women in leadership, and supporting pastors’ wives in their God-given roles.
As President of the Women’s Ministry and visionary of SHE LEADS, a mentoring and coaching ministry, Bishop Sharon continues to equip, empower, and uplift women across generations.
Through divine inspiration and life experience, she is also an accomplished author of four impactful books: From the Heart of a Pastor’s Wife (Amazon Best Seller), The Summer of a Woman’s Life, Sex and the Tired Wife, and I Didn’t Start Out Being A Pastor’s Wife.
